THE WORLD OF CAVING - 2018
This was the opening video for conference to celebrate 50 years of British cave exploration and science which took place at the Royal Geographical Society in London in December 2017.
It was awarded a merit in the Hidden earth Video Salon and then went on to win the Tom Zannes Award for best in show at the 2018 National Speleological Society convention in 2018.
RETURN TO AQUAMOLE
A shortened version of this film was the Video Salon winner at Hidden Earth in September 2024. The complete film was premiered at the Kendal Mountain Film Festival in November 2024. It was cited when I was awared the Fraser Simpson Award for excellence in cave videography in 2024.
COMMISSIONS
From time to time I get asked to produce films for third parties. I would like to believe that this is due to my reputation for producing high quality, watchable films. However, the reality I suspect, is more to do with the budget nature of my operation - I don't charge.
SHROPSHIRE SCOUTS CAVING TEAM - 2019
This video was commissioned to be shown to young people about to embark on earning the Caver Activity Badge and also to their parents or guardians.
PLAS GWYNANT OUTDOOR EDUCATION CENTRE - 2025
SUP to Sandwell was a fund-raising event. One of the Centre's instructor's cycled and paddled a SUP all of the way from Plas Gwynant to Sandwell Aquatics Centre over a period of four days. This film uses animation and Google Earth Studio to show graphically the route taken.
YORKSHIRE DALES NATIONAL PARK - 2025
This film was produced for an event which took place in the Yorkshire Dales National Park in October 2025.
National Caving Conference - 2017, 2018, 2019 & 2025
After winning the video salon in 2015, I was commissioned to produce the conference opening video in 2017. This also won the video salon.
This was the 2018 Hidden Earth opening video. Although this video received a lot of positive comments on YouTube, it was not well-received at the conference. I also produced the opening video in 2019. However, this wasn't a Caver Keith original, it was made up from clips of the films entered in the salon.
This video was a collaborative effort, but I completed all of the post-production as well as supplying the majority of the footage. I will be producing the 2026 opening video too.
Barnstaple and Yeo Valley Railway Trust 2026
This video takes the viewer on a flight over the route of this legendary narrow gauge railway from Barnstaple to Lynton. It shows the route, stations, bridge locations and trackbed ownership. The film was produced using Google Earth Studio.
This film chronicles the amazing achievements that have been made in conserving what remains of the railway over the last 47 years - station restorations, trackbed acquisitions, rebuilds of locos and rolling stock and the amazing time capsule which is Woody Bay station.
British Caving Association - 2026
The aim of this video is to offer some of the many techniques to carry out improved SRT rescues as required within the BCA Cave Instructor Certificate scheme.
The video is intended to supplement CIC training.
